LOBBY BOY is a compact active speaker system developed as a spatial object for contemporary interiors.

Positioned somewhere between audio device, furniture piece and sculptural object, the project explores how listening systems can actively shape the atmosphere and visual identity of a space rather than disappear within it. The composition is built around exaggerated geometric contrasts, saturated colour accents and exposed acoustic elements treated as part of the overall object language.

A defining feature of the system is the custom-cast aluminium control knob functioning simultaneously as power switch, volume control and tactile interface. Combined with the oversized dual bass reflex geometry and architectural stained wood base, the project intentionally balances industrial precision with a more playful and emotionally driven visual character.

Designed for smaller listening environments, LOBBY BOY functions as a self-contained sound object - capable of transforming everyday interiors into more intentional and immersive listening situations.
